The submission of learned counsel for the

petitioner is that vide Government Order dated

09.01.2018, the process of appointment on the

post of Assistant Teacher was initiated by the

respondents and vide Government Order dated

18.08.2018, option was permitted to be exercised

to the selected Assistant Teachers for

appointment. The petitioner being Assistant

Teacher in primary school applied for appointment

in District Gonda by giving first preference. In spite

of appointing the petitioner in District Gonda, the petitioner has been posted in District Bahraich.

The submission of learned counsel for the

petitioner is that Assistant Teachers, who are

having lesser merit, have been granted

appointment in District Gonda, which is contrary to

the provisions contained under the Government

Order referred hereinabove.

On the issue involved in the present writ petition,

learned counsel for the respondents pray for and

are allowed a weeks' time to seek instruction in

the matter and to file short counter affidavit.

List this petition as fresh on 19.09.2018.

In the meantime, the joining of the petitioner shall

be subject to the final outcome of the writ petition.
