Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri S.B. Pandey, learned Assistant Solicitor General for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and Shri Manish Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos. 3 to 8. 

This Public Interest Litigation (P.I.L.) has been filed basically for ensuring that the basic facilities as required by the State policies be provided to the children and also in time so that at the beginning of the session the children are fully equipped with their books, dress, stationery, etc. 

We have perused the prayer and we find that the prayer Nos. 1 and 2 are not required to be dealt with. However, prayer No.3 is the only relief for which we are entertaining this petition. 

Shri Manish Mishra, learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. So far as the prayer No.3 is concerned he may inform the Court the status of the same within 10 days. 

Put up this case in the additional cause list on 27th September, 2018.
